Bath and sanitary facilities - this is a sensitive area. This is really about privacy: The balance between cool hygiene, sterile functionality and emotional relaxation in the most private of all living spaces is a delicate matter. Richter+Frenzel GmbH + Co. KG with the FOR bathroom brand shows that it is still possible to stand out in this area.
Developed by the Richter agency, FOR communicates unobtrusive luxury in the bathroom. The brand has already won the German Brand Award twice and has received four IF Design Awards in 2024. Now the still young brand is being awarded the Red Dot Design Award.
Danthree Studio was happy to be a part of it: Product visualization for brand communication is our specialty. Making chrome-shining fittings, matte black, and organically shaped ceramics sensually tangible - that's what our CGI service should achieve. From 3D Visualization to 3D Animation, FOR Odivis radiates warm sensuality, while FOR Leano comes across as rather calm, cool and understated.

German Brand Award '24: Special Mention Newcomer of the Year and Winner Heating and Bathroom
The German Brand Award '24 was awarded twice to the FOR brand, which was presented by Richter+Frenzel at RIFA in Nuremberg in 2023. The premium sanitary brand segment is highly competitive and the market is actually saturated. Alexandra Richter from the Richter agency for brand development nevertheless managed to ensure that the entire industry was talking about nothing else after RIFA.
The design language was developed with and by the Artefakt design agency. The focus was on the sensual experience: Starting from organic shapes, the design agency developed washbasins, vanity units, bathtubs and toilets, i.e. the entire sanitary range. A pebble was chosen as the starting point, which was exemplary for organic shapes in connection with sensual experience and water. Working with fine ceramics allowed a particularly precise, flat geometry of the individual designs.
The second award, the German Brand Award '24 in the Heating and Bathroom category, showed how well the design and brand communication have captured the spirit of the times. The industry not only talked about the brand under the umbrella of Richter+Frenzel, but it was literally celebrated.

iF Product Design Award of the Industrie Forum Design - four awards for FOR Odivis and bathroom accessories
The iF Design Award of the Industrie Forum Design has been awarded annually since 1954. This is about product design that is absolutely convincing - around 11,000 product and project innovations from a total of 56 nations applied for the traditional award in 2023 alone.
FOR Odivis received the iF Product Design Award in the Ceramics and Furniture, Fittings and Accessories categories. In addition, the brand received the award for the general Accessories category. This actually covers the entire range of the Odivis and Leano collections. The brand is a well-rounded thing, at least in terms of design.

The Red Dot Design Award, an annual design competition, is internationally renowned and considered a quality label. The award is presented for product and industrial design, brand and communication design, and design concepts.
All submissions are evaluated by a jury of experts, composed of international leaders in the industry. Products and concepts that win the award are then presented in exhibitions, yearbooks, and online. As a quality label, the Red Dot highlights exceptional products and can be used in product communication.
With this in mind, we at Danthree Studio are naturally particularly proud to have created product visualizations, 3D images, and a 3D Animation for the FOR Odivis and Leando collections.
The bathroom and sanitary sector is tricky: How do you communicate sensual experiences, well-being, and privacy in a luxurious environment when the target audience can only explore with their eyes? CGI gives us the ability to communicate surfaces, textures, and the temperature of the room and surfaces through clever lighting and coloring.
In the differently designed rooms, with some products being the same and some being similar, it becomes clear how the various individual pieces (furniture, sanitary ware, fittings, accessories) can be freely combined with each other.
Our 3D Animation lets viewers walk through the rooms. The feel, hardness, and temperature of the different surfaces are effortlessly brought to life through the masterful work of our CGI artists.
The virtual design of the brand spaces with the aspect of the greatest possible realism was ultimately decisive in the brand communication. These furniture, fittings and ceramics stand for "empathic appearance" and put the human being in the center, as brand developer Alexandra Richter emphasized from the beginning. So also the claim: FOR - a bathroom according to my feeling.
