Bathrooms and plumbing—this is a sensitive area. It really touches on privacy: Striking the balance between clinical hygiene, sterile functionality, and emotional relaxation in the most private of all living spaces is a delicate matter. Richter+Frenzel GmbH + Co. KG demonstrates that it’s still possible to stand out in this very sector with its bathroom brand, FOR.
Developed by the Richter agency, FOR conveys understated luxury in the bathroom. The brand has already won the German Brand Award twice and has been honored four times with the IF Design Award 2024. Now, this relatively new brand has been awarded the Red Dot Design Award.
Danthree Studio was honored to be part of this project: Product visualization for brand communication is our specialty. Our CGI services were designed to bring chrome-plated fixtures, matte black, and organically shaped ceramics to life in a way that appeals to the senses. From 3D visualization to 3D animation, FOR Odivis exudes a warm sensuality, while FOR Leano has a more calm, understated, and cool aesthetic.

German Brand Award '24: Special Mention for Newcomer of the Year and Winner in the Heating and Bathroom Category
The brand—which Richter+Frenzel didn’t unveil until 2023 at RIFA in Nuremberg —was awarded the German Brand Award ’24 twice. The premium bathroom fixtures segment is highly competitive, and the market is essentially saturated. Nevertheless, Alexandra Richter of the brand development agency Richter managed to get the entire industry talking about nothing else after RIFA.
The design language was developed in collaboration with and by the design firm Artefakt. The focus was on the sensory experience: drawing inspiration from organic forms, the design agency developed sinks, vanity units, bathtubs, and toilets—in short, the entire line of bathroom fixtures. A pebble was chosen as the starting point, as it exemplified organic forms in connection with sensory experience and water. Working with fine ceramics allowed for a particularly precise, flat geometry in the individual designs.
The second German Brand Award '24 in the Heating and Bathroom category demonstrated just how well the design and brand communication captured the spirit of the times. The industry didn't just talk about the brand under the Richter+Frenzel umbrella—it was truly celebrated.

iF Product Design Award from the Industrie Forum Design—four awards for FOR Odivis and bathroom accessories
The iF Design Award, presented by the Industrie Forum Design, has been awarded annually since 1954. The award recognizes product design that truly stands out—in 2023 alone, some 11,000 product and project innovations from a total of 56 countries were submitted for this long-standing award.
FOR Odivis received the iF Product Design Award in the categories of Ceramics and Furniture, Faucets, and Accessories. In addition, the brand received the award for the general Accessories category. This essentially covers the entire range of the Odivis and Leano collections. The brand is a well-rounded success, at least in terms of design.

In Brief: Red Dot Design Award
The annual Red Dot Design Award competition is internationally renowned and is regarded as a seal of quality. The award is presented for product and industrial design, brand and communication design, and design concepts.
All submissions are evaluated by a jury of experts, which is composed of leading international figures in the industry. Products and concepts that win the award are subsequently showcased in exhibitions, yearbooks, and online. The Red Dot serves as a quality label highlighting exceptional products and may be used in product communications.
Against this backdrop, we at Danthree Studio are, of course, particularly proud to have had the opportunity to create product visualizations, 3D images, and a 3D animation for the two collections, FOR Odivis and Leando.
The bathroom and plumbing sector is a delicate one: How do you convey sensory experiences, well-being, and privacy in a luxurious setting when the target audience has only their eyes to explore it? CGI gives us the ability to convey surfaces, textures, and the temperature of the space and surfaces through skillful use of lighting and color.
In the variously designed rooms, some of which feature identical products and others similar ones, it becomes clear how the different individual pieces (furniture, plumbing fixtures, hardware, and accessories) can be freely combined with one another.
Our 3D animation allows viewers to walk through the rooms. The texture, hardness, and temperature of the various surfaces are effortlessly brought to life through the masterful work of our CGI artists.
The virtual design of the brand spaces, with a focus on maximum realism, ultimately proved decisive for brand communication. These pieces of furniture, fixtures, and ceramics embody an “empathetic aesthetic” and place people at the center, as brand developer Alexandra Richter emphasized from the very beginning. The same goes for the tagline: FOR—a bathroom that feels right to me.
Following this success, we were very excited to collaborate with the bath brand again in 2025. Feel free to check out our new interactive brand spaces for FOR.
