At H.O.M.E. Haus 2025, the visionary architecture of Coop Himmelb(l)au blends with the sensuous, organic bathroom designs of FOR—presented as interactive, photorealistic brand spaces by Danthree Studio.
The visionary architecture by Coop Himmelb(l)au, the Invisible H.O.M.E. House, is an intriguing concept: a house of the future with no fixed rooms or structures, where living spaces can be reconfigured at will, and which blends harmoniously into the surrounding landscape. There are no dividing walls; the interior and exterior merge.
The organic and natural-looking bathroom fittings from FOR are to be placed in this concept. Bathrooms are intimate areas that actually require visually separating elements and should be "permanently installed" due to the technical aspect (water pipes, electricity).
The realization of this exciting project for the bathroom brand FOR was a great honor for Danthree Studio. Thanks to CGI, we were able to stage architecture as an experience, and also as an interactive experience, using the example of two bathrooms. FOR's brand values were the inspiration for the visual and spatial design and thus characterize the brand experience at this touchpoint.
From digital image to virtual reality: The FOR brand spaces
Danthree Studio took its cue from Coop Himmelb(l)au’s architectural vision of the Invisible House and, working in collaboration with the Munich-based agency Richter and the FOR partners, developed interior spaces based on this concept that are not rooms with fixed structures.
Transparent shells enable a kind of permeable separation of the interior from the exterior. The film-like character of these shells corresponds to the spatial concept and the aesthetics of FOR, because the natural forms of the FOR product lines are soft and round - like the shapes of a stretched shell.
We created the emotional and sensual atmosphere of these unique bathrooms through the use of lighting, materials, finishes, and spatial design. The FOR Odivis and FOR Leano product lines played a key role in this.
FOR Odivis is all about flowing forms and a connection to nature. In collaboration with the FOR brand, Danthree Studio has created an environment inspired by natural imagery and striking landscapes, into which the FOR Odivis structures, bathroom furniture, and fixtures blend seamlessly.
FOR Leano stands out for its bold structures and materiality. We’re taking a completely different approach to communicating this design line. But the basic steps remained the same: we started with bathroom renderings, developed brand spaces in close collaboration with FOR and the Richter agency, and then merged the digital product twins with the brand space.
The vision of Coop Himmelb(l)au & digital experience spaces
Shower, bathtub, toilet, sink – how do you accommodate something like that when there is no fixed room structure, no walls?
Along with nature shots that all thematized "water", "rock" and "botanical garden" in some way, rotating platforms were developed in the Leano brand space in cooperation with our 3D studio, which house the individual areas of use of the bathroom and can be opened or closed depending on the desired privacy.
In the brand space, high monoliths made of stone were 3D modeled in such a way that the bathroom products were integrated into the rocks. Here, the technical possibilities actually reach the limits of conventional photography: It would hardly be possible to implement these brand spaces in reality and capture them visually.
Thanks to CGI, the experts at Danthree Studio were able to truly bring the concept of the Invisible House by Coop Himmelb(l)au to life for the bathroom brand FOR – and not just visually.
Architectural visualization with VR allows customers to actually move around in these spaces. The photorealistic 3D room design enables the use of VR. Here we see the future of bathrooms: Interactive 3D visualizations allow us to build an emotional connection to the space through active design – which exists exclusively in the digital realm in this form.
Beyond Rendering: Why immersive visualization is the future
This very special project for FOR at H.O.M.E. Haus 2025 required a unique approach. Danthree Studio remained in constant contact with all stakeholders, and through active collaboration, the two brand spaces were developed step by step.
Every single detail was designed, sketched, elaborated, assessed, commented on, and revised. Perfectionism set the pace.
We are proud of the result. Because here, as a studio for CGI and photorealistic 3D visualization, we see the future. Digital brand spaces for design brands will not only be photorealistic in the future, but also interactive.
