In the H.O.M.E. Haus 2025, the visionary architecture of Coop Himmelb(l)au blends with the sensuous, organic bathroom worlds of FOR—presented as interactive, photorealistic brand spaces by Danthree Studio.
The visionary architecture by Coop Himmelb(l)au, the Invisible H.O.M.E. House, is an interesting concept: a house of the future that has no fixed rooms or structures, whose functional areas can be rearranged at will, and that blends harmoniously into the surrounding landscape. There are no dividing walls; the interior and exterior merge.
The FOR brand’s organic and natural-looking bathroom fixtures are to be incorporated into this concept. Bathrooms are intimate spaces that actually require visual dividers and should be “permanently installed” from a technical standpoint (water lines, electricity).
It was a great honor for Danthree Studio to bring this exciting project for the FOR bathroom brand to life. Thanks to CGI, we were able to present architecture as an experience—and an interactive one at that—using two bathrooms as examples. FOR’s brand values served as the inspiration for the visual and spatial design, thereby shaping the brand experience at this touchpoint.
From Digital Images to Virtual Reality: The FOR Brand Spaces
Danthree Studio took Coop Himmelb(l)au’s architectural vision of the Invisible House as its starting point and, working in collaboration with the Munich-based agency Richter and the FOR participants, developed interior spaces based on this concept that are not rooms with fixed structures.
Transparent covers create a kind of permeable boundary between the interior and the exterior. The film-like nature of these covers complements FOR’s spatial concept and aesthetic, as the natural forms of the FOR product lines are soft and rounded—much like the shapes of a stretched cover.
We created the emotional and sensual atmosphere of these unique bathrooms through the use of light, materials, surfaces, and spatial composition. The FOR Odivis and FOR Leano product lines played a key role in this.
FOR Odivis embodies flowing forms and a connection to nature. In collaboration with the FOR brand, Danthree Studio has drawn inspiration from natural imagery and evocative landscapes to create an environment in which the FOR Odivis structures, bathroom furniture, and fixtures blend in organically.
FOR Leano stands out for its bold structures and materiality. We communicate this design line in a completely different way. But the steps involved were essentially the same: We started with bathroom renderings, then developed brand spaces in close collaboration with FOR and the Richter agency, and finally merged the digital product twins with the brand space.
The Vision of Coop Himmelb(l)au & Digital Experience Spaces
Shower, bathtub, toilet, sink—how do you fit all that in when there’s no fixed room layout and no walls?
Alongside nature photographs, all of which focused in some way on “water,” “rock,” and “botanical gardens,” rotating platforms were developed for the Leano brand space in collaboration with our 3D studio. These platforms house the spa’s various areas and can be opened or closed depending on the desired level of privacy.
In the brand space, tall stone monoliths were modeled in 3D in such a way that the bathroom products were integrated into the rocks. Here, the technical possibilities truly push the limits of conventional photography: It would be virtually impossible to actually recreate these brand spaces and capture them in images.
Thanks to CGI, the experts at Danthree Studio were able to bring Coop Himmelb(l)au’s “Invisible House” concept to life for the bath brand FOR—and not just visually.
Architectural visualization using VR allows customers to actually move around within these spaces. The photorealistic 3D rendering of the space makes the use of VR possible. Here we see the future of bathrooms: Interactive 3D visualizations allow us to build an emotional connection to the space through active design—a space that, in this form, exists exclusively in the digital realm.
Beyond Rendering: Why Immersive Visualization Is the Future
This very special project for FOR at H.O.M.E. Haus 2025 required a unique approach. Danthree Studio remained in constant contact with all stakeholders, and through lively dialogue, the two brand spaces were developed step by step.
Every single detail was designed, sketched, developed, evaluated, commented on, and revised. Perfectionism set the pace.
We’re proud of the result. As a studio specializing in CGI and photorealistic 3D visualization, this is where we see the future. In the future, digital brand spaces for design brands will not only be photorealistic but also interactive.
These are virtual brand experiences for bathrooms and architecture that have the potential to build very strong customer loyalty
