We write the climate protection, the CO2 offset in our 3D / CGI agency big. Therefore, from now on our services and our complete 3D / CGI work to our customers are climate neutral. Means concretely for our customers: climate neutral visual marketing (creation of visual marketing). As one of the first CGI agencies we write climate protection big and want to be a pioneer in this area and encourage others to do the same.
In which project we put our CO2 compensation and how it works, you can read in this article.
3D visualizations and CGI are power intensive, needing potent hardware and software from digitizing the materials / surfaces, 3D modeling the products to the final 3D visualization or meetings on site at our customers. This goes hand in hand with a high input of resources, from the production of the hardware to the creation of the final 3D visualizations or 3D animations. Let's face it: climate protection is more important than ever! Through a CO2 offset we manage to offer our services at Danthree Studio climate neutral.
Why climate protection is a concern for us at Danthree Studio
The far too high emissions of CO2 in recent decades are contributing to the fact that the earth continues to warm up. In very simplified terms, CO2 is released to generate electricity, to burn waste, to heat with fossil fuels and to transport goods around the world. CO2 accumulates in the atmosphere. The sun's rays can pass through this enriched atmosphere and ensure that temperatures here on Earth are in a range that makes life possible. But actually, some of the radiation should be reflected and radiate back into space. The radiation is reflected on the earth's surface, but the gas mixture of the atmosphere does not let the rays back into space, but reflects them back to earth. As a result, it gets warmer and warmer here - that's climate change.
The solution: There is no such thing. We can slow and maybe even stop climate change by producing less CO2. That's why our 3D visualizations and CGI are created in a climate-neutral way. In our case, however, climate neutral does not mean that no CO2 is released into the atmosphere when we provide our services. We don't create that. But we do create a CO2 offset.
Our CO2 offset for a sustainable tomorrow
CO2 offsetting is a way to prevent CO2 where it is produced. We cannot prevent CO2 from being produced in the production of the hardware we use. This is because it is manufactured in countries over whose production conditions we have only an extremely limited influence. But we can help make electricity production in these countries (and in other, less developed countries) a little more climate-friendly. We pay for the construction of electricity production plants that operate in a climate-neutral manner and provide energy from renewable sources. And we financially support projects that provide reforestation.
Reforestation is so important because healthy forests permanently bind CO2. The plants take the carbon dioxide from the air, they need it for their metabolism. The "waste product" is oxygen. This ensures a clean atmosphere.
How does carbon offsetting benefit you as a Danthree Studio customer?
You get climate neutral 3D visualizations, 3D models or 3D movies. This means: Your marketing is also climate neutral. This is at least true for the part you entrust to us. You can promote your furniture, home or living products and services with a clear conscience. Because your marketing does not contribute to the destruction of our planet. What gives you a good conscience is a buying argument for your customers. In fact, awareness of environmental and climate protection is very high. And of course, as a climate and environmental protector, you can be confident that you will still be living in a world worth living in tomorrow. Let's stop climate change together! With climate neutral CGI and 3D visualizations we contribute a small part to it.
In which project we invest our CO2 offset
In the heart of South Africa we have found a project which is close to our hearts. The aim of this project in South Africa (Longyuan Mulilo De Aar Maanhaarberg Wind Energy Facility) is to feed the electricity generated by wind power into the Republic of South Africa (RSA) grid. The project involves the construction of a new wind farm connected to the grid at a site where no wind farm was operating prior to the implementation of the scheme. The wind farm consists of 67 wind turbines and associated infrastructure and is located on the Swartkoppies and Maanhaar Mountains southwest of the town of De Aar in the Northern Cape Province of the RSA. Longyuan Mulilo De Aar Wind Power (RF) (Pty) Ltd is the developer of the wind farm. A 30-day public comment period on the project was held from September 25 to October 25. No comments were received during this period. The total reduction in GHG emissions at the end of the crediting period is expected to be 4,339,290 t CO2e.
