What shapes the scope of your CGI project

Review the product information

Existing CAD/STEP files, dimensions and material references help us assess the modeling work. Photos provide visual references; we’ll discuss any additional information needed for your product. Questions about CGI costs and project planning

How much does CGI or 3D visualization cost?

It depends on quantities (products, variants and images), scenes (indoor or outdoor), available product information and timing. The planner records your requirements in a project brief. After reviewing your requirements and documents, we prepare a proposal tailored to your project. Learn more about our 3D rendering studio.

Why don’t you publish fixed prices?

Product complexity, visual direction, number of images, intended channels and available data determine the work involved. We therefore quote after reviewing your requirements. For help comparing proposals, read how to choose a 3D rendering studio.

What has the greatest effect on the cost?

1) Products and variants, 2) number of scenes and images, 3) available product data (CAD, dimensions, PBR materials), 4) required assets, such as animation or AR models, 5) timeline. Find definitions in our 3D glossary.

What product information do you need?

Existing CAD data, dimensions, drawings and material samples help define the project. Photos can serve as visual references but do not automatically replace missing dimensions or views. We can also work with digitized surfaces. We’ll discuss which documents are sufficient for your product. Learn about surface digitization.

How does the work differ between packshots and lifestyle scenes?

Packshots show the product against a plain background. Lifestyle scenes also require set design and visual direction. In both cases, the work depends on the product, material, lighting and intended visual language. Existing models and scenes can provide a starting point for further images.

Do you also create 3D product animations?

Yes. We agree on the length, story and format, such as 16:9, 1:1 or 9:16, to suit the channels where you will use the animation. See examples of our 3D product animations.

Can you supply AR and 3D models for an online store?

Yes, we supply formats including USDZ (iOS) and glTF/GLB for the agreed target system. We deliver model assets; store integration and ongoing operation are not included. What happens after I submit my inquiry?

We review your brief and clarify any open questions about product information, visual direction and scope. We then prepare a tailored proposal. Submitting a brief through the planner does not place a production order.

Where can I see examples of your work?

How does CGI differ from traditional product photography?

With CGI, the product and scene are built as digital models. They can be used for further views or variants when the data and materials are suitable.
