AR QR code generator - QR codes for USDZ & GLB in seconds

Create scannable QR codes for your 3D and AR models in just a few steps. Link to a publicly accessible GLB, glTF, or USDZ file. Scanning the code opens the model page. On supported smartphones, you can then view the model in your space.

The tool creates a shareable link on ar.danthree.studio. You can add a brand and product name, which appear on the model page. The model file stays on your file server. Download the QR code as an SVG, or copy the link and HTML embed code.

How to use the AR code tool for product pages, POS & sales

The tool is built for marketing, e-commerce, and product teams. Connect product pages, catalogs, or a trade show display to an interactive model viewer. Download the QR code as an SVG, share the link, or embed the linked QR code on your website. Test scanning and display on your target devices before publishing or printing the code.

3D preview and AR on supported devices

Rotate and zoom in on GLB and glTF models in the 3D preview. On an AR-capable smartphone, use the AR button to view the model in your space. For USDZ files, use Quick Look on supported Apple devices. Availability depends on the device and browser; the model must use the correct units to display at the intended size. (Technical information: Apple Quick Look or model-viewer)

Model page with your brand and product name

The shared link includes the brand, product name, model URL, and language. The model page displays your details and loads the model only when requested. It does not create a custom subdomain or a stored short URL. Only use models cleared for public sharing, and never include secret access credentials in the link.

Just embed it on your website

Choose the size and colors in the tool and create your QR code. Select “Copy embed code” to get HTML containing a linked SVG QR code. A visible Danthree Studio credit is optional. Alternatively, download the SVG and add it as an image.

Clean 3D files & stable hosting

Use a direct, publicly accessible HTTPS link to a GLB, glTF, or USDZ file. For the 3D preview, the file server must allow browser requests (CORS). A Google Drive or Dropbox sharing page is not a direct model link. With glTF, referenced textures and geometry files must also be accessible. Need suitable models? AR QR Code Generator FAQ

What is an AR-QR code?

An AR QR code links to a model viewer. After scanning it, you can load the model and launch the view-in-room feature on a supported smartphone. On desktop, GLB and glTF files can be viewed in the 3D preview.

Which file formats are suitable?

GLB and glTF work with the 3D preview and supported AR modes. USDZ works with Quick Look on supported Apple devices. GLB can package geometry and textures in a single file. Learn more in our glossary: glTF, USDZ.

Do I need an app or a login?

You do not need an account or an additional app to use the generator. Enter the model URL to get a QR code, shareable link, and HTML embed code. Viewing the model in your space requires a supported smartphone, the appropriate AR features, and camera permission.

Can we include a logo in the QR code?

Not at this time. We prioritize reliable scan quality—without a logo in the code.

How are the brand and product name used?

Both fields are optional. The tool includes them in the link and displays them on the model page. It does not create a custom subdomain or a stored short URL.

How do I embed the QR code in Webflow?

Copy the generated HTML into a Webflow Embed element, or download the QR code as an SVG and add it as an image. Set the size and colors in the generator. Then test the published code with your smartphone.

What if our model isn't AR-ready yet?

We provide support for 3D modeling and PBR textures to ensure that USDZ/GLB files run smoothly and look photorealistic.

Does this work even without an internet connection (e.g., at a trade show)?

The QR code requires an internet connection to load the model. Tip: Set up a hotspot and host models on a fast server.
