Natural stone, planting and sun-warmed colors. For Sedda’s Gibraltar outdoor collection, we developed a Mediterranean visual direction, from the setting to the CGI product imagery.
Austrian furniture manufacturer Sedda wanted to show its Gibraltar outdoor collection in a Mediterranean setting. The furniture was designed by Sven Dogs Studio. The visual concept paired its light construction with the feeling of a quiet summer day outdoors.
Danthree Studio created the virtual brand settings. Architecture, planting, light and color were developed together so individual product views would belong to one image series.
A Mediterranean setting for Gibraltar
Stone surfaces, planting and warm colors formed the basis of the outdoor furniture CGI scenes. The setting needed to feel summery while keeping attention on the collection.
The visual direction takes shape through specific choices: how close the sofa sits to the stone wall, where the shadow falls and which colors in the setting echo the upholstery. These relationships connect the furniture with its surroundings.
From moodboards to a shared visual direction
Moodboards and material samples set the direction. Our creative directors and designers used them to develop the spaces, color palette and camera views.
The product references included Sunbrella fabrics and coated finishes from Tiger Coatings. Fabric structure, upholstery colors and metal frames needed to remain distinct in the Mediterranean light.
Sketches, comments and color studies supported the collaboration with Sedda. We coordinated lighting and styling across the views so wide shots and details would work together.
The furniture behind the visual world
Sedda supplied photographs and drawings of the lounge furniture. We built photorealistic 3D models from those references and matched surfaces to the material samples. That product work underpins the Mediterranean scenes.
The gallery also shows the imagery in context: in catalog spreads, the Red Dot presentation and a Sedda Instagram post. These examples let you follow the visual direction from an individual rendering through to its publication.
Light, fabric and finish
Stone walls, warm light and upholstered seating shape the scenes. Close-ups show the relationship between fabric texture, coated metal and the open spaces within the furniture.
We developed these views alongside the wider room scenes. The detail images stay within the same setting, rather than appearing as separate technical demonstrations.
Gibraltar: Red Dot Winner 2025
The Gibraltar collection by Sven Dogs Studio received the 2025 Red Dot Award. The award recognizes the furniture design. Our role was to develop and produce the CGI imagery.
An image series for brand communication
The Mediterranean setting connects the different furniture views. Color and light provide a common direction, while each camera angle reveals another aspect of the collection.
