Sensually luxurious or simply relaxed: Virtual bathroom design for the bathroom brand FOR
How do you make a space tangible for people when they can't enter it? Surfaces and textures, the warmth of the light, the play of shadows as you move through the bathroom - all of this determines how a room is perceived. The feeling of calm and relaxation only partly comes from colors and lighting; temperatures, smells, and humidity are far more important. Our CGI artists were allowed to capture these space-defining properties for the new Richter + Frenzel product line FOR in product videos and images in 3D for the bathroom furniture of the new brand.
Two designs, one feeling - FOR Ovidis & Leano as modular feel-good spaces
The two product series FOR Ovidis and FOR Leano communicate the bathroom as a personal feel-good space, as a place of retreat. The designs are sensual and warm (Ovidis bathroom series) and cool, relaxed and unexcited (Leano bathroom series). All individual pieces of furniture, fittings, washbasins, showers and bathtubs can be combined with each other as required. However, they also adapt to existing living and design concepts, so they can also be used together with products from other series. Richter+Frenzel attaches great importance to this, because this is how truly individual spaces are created thanks to a sustainable design.
Brand identity from the ground up - CGI, showroom & visual identity for FOR
The challenge was to present precisely this idea of simple furniture that blends organically into any existing room as product images in 3D within the framework of the manufacturer's brand communication. CGI in furniture marketing is no longer quite so new, after all, our core business is the home & living sector. We were able to accompany the manufacturer from the very beginning in creating the new brand. Product images were created by our CGI artists, developed as 3D visualization and further processed into product videos. We were allowed to take over the digital showroom design. All 3D visualizations for trade fairs and showrooms come from us - this is also a special feature for Danthree Studios to this extent.
3D product images for the sanitary industry are a challenge
In the sanitary sector, brand communication is often a bit critical. On the one hand, absolute hygiene must be communicated, on the other hand, the pleasant, relaxing and individual aspects of the rooms should be emphasized. Materials must have smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces - but such a personal wellness oasis should not appear cold either. End customers should sensually engage with every single piece of furniture and understand the functionality at first glance. How do you present this in the area of digital bathroom staging without becoming too technical? Richter + Frenzel stands for innovative bathroom design, and the virtual product presentation created by our artists should communicate exactly that.
Materiality meets atmosphere - how CGI stages the bathroom as a place of well-being
From the collaboration with specialists from the trade, who know the properties of the individual materials exactly, convincing CGIs for furniture manufacturers as well as for sanitary facilities could finally be created. Smooth surfaces shine and reflect in the light, the cool feel of a glass pane becomes tangible through the interior subtly reflected in it. Nevertheless, the product images radiate a pleasant warmth, generated by the special lighting and the soft play of shadows, which appear sometimes deeper and darker, sometimes lighter and more superficial. The bathroom design in 3D looks calm, there is no echo, no loud noises. Despite the smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces, the rooms radiate calm. Matt surfaces, angled rooms and the use of individual textiles ensure this calm. Richter + Frenzel from Munich (Germany) create feel-good spaces for personal hygiene with FOR as a bathroom brand that you like to use - a positioning that is also highlighted in this article on Archiproducts as a new premium brand in the bathroom sector. Every 3D visualization, whether animated or static, radiates this.
The trade press has also followed the introduction of FOR with interest - moebelmarkt.de reported on the launch of the bathroom brand by Richter + Frenzel and classifies the strategic orientation in the German sanitary market.
