Products (SKUs), variants per product, scenes/rooms, camera angles, and the expected travel scenario (studio, domestic, international). Optionally, you can specify the distance to the location —this helps refine the travel emissions.
Formula: Savings per image = (Σ CO₂ Photo − Σ CO₂ CGI) ÷ number of final images. Final images = products × variants × scenes × camera angles. If desired, the impact of travel can be excluded from this KPI to view pure scaling effects.
Yes. The advanced assumptions (energy mix in kg CO₂/kWh, the render farm’s PUE, travel baselines) can be edited. This allows the estimate to be tailored to the specific project, from a local studio to a green cloud region.
Yes. In photo production, typical sample and shipping shipments are included as part of the baseline. CGI generally avoids this type of logistics.
