A Virtual Bathroom Design Inspired by Nature and Canyon – Realized with CGI for Diana Bad
Diana Bad offers high-quality bathroom furniture, accessories, and fixtures that transform your home bathroom into a wellness retreat. A touch of nature is always present in Diana Bad’s designs —from the color palette and design language to the tactile feel. The Inselkind agency is known for its highly creative and imaginative advertising in both still and moving images.
Danthree Studio, an expert in 3D visualization for bathroom brands, had the opportunity to collaborate on this exciting project with the well-established duo of the Inselkind agency and Diana Bad to create atmospheric 3D brand spaces using CGI.
From Natural Wonder to Interior Concept – The Idea Behind Canyon House
Our task was to create a luxury bathroom in earthy, natural tones, drawing inspiration not from conventional bathrooms but from striking photographs of a canyon landscape in shades of red and brown.
The canyon’s natural forms—carved out of the rock by water over millions of years—along with the clay and sand tones in the red spectrum, inspired the concept.
Canyon House presented a special challenge for us in terms of sculpting and modeling it photorealistically in 3D.
From Moodboard to Spatial Feeling – CGI as a Tool in Bathroom Architecture
Howdo you approach digital architectural designs for bathrooms when all you have as a project idea are landscape photographs? It’s simple: You take those landscape photographs and, step by step, develop them into an architectural interior based on the floor plan provided by the Inselkind agency.
Danthree Studio received a richly detailed mood board from the Inselkind agency and Diana Bad. Drawing on the colors and shapes that ran through the various images, we developed an organic interior design in CGI in close collaboration with our two partners.
Specifically, that means: planning—sketch—doodles—comments—new sketch—more doodles—more images for inspiration—new sketch—more comments.
The materiality and the sense of space were consistently the defining factors in our designs. The sand-colored, orange-red surfaces had to be tangible to the touch, while the soft forms and natural light had to define the space. CGI is nothing more than a design tool for creating new spatial environments.
Digital Brand Staging: How CGI Brings Products to Life
Organic interior design in CGI was just the beginning. To turn the space in the Canyon House concept into a bathroom, Diana Bad’s fixtures still had to be incorporated into the digital architecture.
The bathroom manufacturer provided the 3D models of the individual products. For the chrome fixtures, we used Metalness Map to preserve their authentic reflective properties. Danthree Studio aligned the models with Diana Bad’s product catalog, optimized the models to be photorealistic for the luxury bathroom in earthy, natural tones, and integrated them into the digital architecture. This project is more than just a simple visualization. It is the digital brand presentation of the future.
When mood and atmosphere are key factors in purchasing decisions, virtual bathroom concepts work exceptionally well for premium brands. After all, there is enormous potential in striking the perfect balance between real products and visionary spaces. Virtual bathroom presentations are a sales strategy for the future.
Emotion Through Design – CGI as a Bridge Between Spatial Feeling and Reality
Materials and colors set the mood of a room. Reddish hues and matte finishes—as seen in this luxury bathroom with its earthy, natural tones—create a pleasant warmth and a sense of comfort. Bathroom design already leverages this emotional connection—and 3D visualizations for interior design brands open up opportunities to play with these elements.
We can harmoniously coordinate the design of bathroom furniture and architecture by striving for an organic interior design approach using CGI. Digital architecture and bathroom design intersect here, creating an experience that resonates emotionally with people and allows them to envision the bathroom of their dreams. CGI makes everything possible, from photorealistic renderings to VR tours and beyond.
Virtual Brand Spaces as the Future of Bathroom Design
Virtual bathroom concepts for premium brands offer interesting avenues for brand communication. What defines a brand, and what does it stand for? This can be communicated very precisely and in an easily understandable way through digital architectural environments for bathrooms.
CGI is the tool that makes it possible to create these virtual worlds in a cost- and time-efficient manner, independent of real-world spaces and the limitations of conventional photography. This is where the future of marketing lies—a powerful sales tool for interior design brands.
With the Canyon House concept, Danthree Studio once again demonstrates how CGI can create not just products, but entire worlds of experience. The future of bathroom design lies in digital, immersive, and emotional brand concepts—and CGI from Danthree Studio is one of the keys to achieving that.
