Bedroom imagery for Schramm: interior styling and CGI
SCHRAMM GmbH has been making beds and mattress systems since 1923. For this project, we modeled beds and textiles in 3D and designed interiors that bring out their materials and proportions. The 3D product imagery pairs close-ups of upholstery and bedding with full room views. The series shows the product details alongside the atmosphere each bed creates in a space.
Interiors with a sense of place
Herringbone flooring, high ceilings and tall windows set the architectural context for one scene. Beige surfaces echo the upholstery; elsewhere, a red bed stands out against quiet walls. We coordinated furniture, wall colors and accessories throughout. In these CGI interiors, the bed belongs to the room while remaining its focus.
Fabric texture and the fall of the bedding
Upholstery and bed linens need different treatment. The weave must remain legible on the headboard, while weight, folds and points of contact determine the shape of pillows and covers. We developed these details in the 3D models for the intended camera views. Bedding tucked in, draped over the edge or folded back changes the composition without redesigning the entire interior.
Levina: working with the curve
The Origins Complete Levina pairs a curved headboard with a rounded upholstered bed frame. Those contours also guide the close-ups. We modeled the proportions, upholstery and transitions, then paired the bed with organically shaped side furniture. The furniture renderings connect product design and interior styling, from individual details to the full composition.
Daylight that reveals the form
Light enters from the side, tracing the curves of the upholstered headboards. Highlights and soft shadows reveal the fabric texture. We coordinated the lighting across room views and details so they read as one image series. The calm atmosphere comes from these choices as much as from the styling.
An image series with room to develop
The 3D interiors provide a starting point for further images. Upholstery, bedding and accessories can be restyled, with camera angles and lighting adjusted to the brief. Each variation still calls for design decisions and review. This visual direction keeps the product and brand presentation connected as the collection evolves.
